The information for each of the Alexandria Police fallen heroes listed to the right was researched and documented by Amy Bertsch (formerly the Public Information Officer of The Alexandria Police Department, currently the Public Information Officer of the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office). Amy spent almost two years on this research. She spent long hours on the work, many on her own time and while on vacation.
